Toffee Almond Biscotti Recipe By Griffin Wetzstein, Fri Dec 9th The almond biscotti recipe is a creation we are proud of.The need to blend bits with almonds came out to adelicious tasting biscotti! Ingredients 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cupgranulated sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/8 teaspoonsalt 3 large eggs 2 tablespoons Amaretto, or 1 1/2teaspoons of almond extract 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3/4 cup slivered almonds 3/4 cup bits Hardware Whisk Large bowl Medium bowl Cookie sheet Parchment paper Mixer Step 1: Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Step 2:Line cookie sheet with parchment paper; set aside. Step3: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder,salt, sugar, almonds, and bits; set aside. Step4: In a large bowl, beat together eggs, Amaretto, andvanilla extract with an electric mixer. Step 5: Mixin dry ingredients with eggs, mix until combined. Dough will besticky, but do not add more flour. Step 6: Floursurface of parchment paper lined cookie sheet, roll dough

Step 11: Remove fromoven and turn slices over and bake another 20 minutes. Step 12: After removing from oven, cookies will dry asthey cool. Makes 24 biscotti.
